Copperfield Neighborhood Association

Welcome to the Copperfield Neighborhood in Lexington, Kentucky. We are located just off Clays Mill Road, south of Man-O-War Blvd. Copperfield was developed in 1989 to 1991, consists of 433 single family homes and is a deed restricted neighborhood.

We are also governed by the Bylaws enacted by the member households of the CNA.

Copperfield is an outstanding place to raise your family. The wonderful clubhouse, pools, tennis courts and playground create a fantastic environment where families congregate year round for activities ranging from Easter Egg Hunts to Cookies with Santa.

Beautiful trees line the streets to create spectacular spring flowers and fall colors. The Copperfield Crocs Swim Team provides an awesome summertime activity for families and kids to meet and form a lifelong bond with other families in the neighborhood. Please come along for a lifetime of fun!

Copperfield Neighborhood Association Amenities

Copperfield Neighorhood features a number of amenities for its residents and their guests. Amenities include tennis courts, two pools and walking trails. The three-story clubhouse may be reserved for business and social gatherings.

Every lot owner shall be required to pay, on February 1 of each year, an annual Neighborhood Association fee not to exceed $250.00 per lot, to the Copperfield Neighborhood Association, 1336 Copper Run Boulevard, Lexington, KY 40514. Said fee shall be used for maintenance of common grounds, neighborhood social activities, and mortgage, utilities, insurance, and taxes related to real property consisting of the neighborhood clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts, and related facilities located at 1336 Copper Run Boulevard in accordance with Section 5.8 of the Bylaws of the Copperfield Neighborhood Association, Inc.

Invoices are typically mailed to owners at the address of record in December and the annual fee is due by February 1 of each year.

You can mail a check (or have a check mailed through your bank’s online banking system) to Copperfield Neighborhood Association, 1336 Copper Run Boulevard, Lexington, KY 40514. You can also pay on this website, but please know that there is a transaction fee associated with online payments.

If the payment is late, you will incur a $50 late fee per month until the payment is made. You may also contact our property manager for payment arrangements. Additionally, overdue accounts are subject to having a lien placed on the property.

The Deed of Restrictions for Copperfield Subdivision contains clauses on your home’s deed that limit how you can use your property. It is important to read and understand the restrictions as they provide guidelines that must be followed by all owners.

Yes. Per Section 2. of the Deed of Restrictions for Copperfield Subdivision, “no building, fence, wall, structure or other improvement shall be erected, placed or altered on any lot until the construction plans, specifications and a plan showing the grade elevation (including rear, front and side elevations) and location of the structure, fence, wall or improvement, the type of exterior material and the driveway (which shall be of asphalt or concrete) shall have been approved in writing”.
