We’re excited to announce that our neighborhood yard sale is just around the corner! From May 19th to May 20th, we’ll be holding a community-wide yard sale from 8:00am to 2:00pm EST each day. This is a great opportunity to clear out your clutter, make some extra cash, and get to know your neighbors.
If you’re interested in participating, here’s what you need to know:
- Sign up by May 5th: If you want to have a yard sale at your home, please email us at [email protected] by May 5th to let us know you’re participating. We’ll compile a list of all the participating households and create a map that we’ll distribute before the sale.
- Get your stuff ready: Start gathering items you’d like to sell, and set aside a space in your yard or driveway to display them. Be sure to label all items with prices and have plenty of change on hand.
- Advertise: We’ll be doing some advertising for the neighborhood yard sale, but you can also help spread the word. Post on social media, put up flyers around the neighborhood, and let your friends and family know about the sale.
- Be safe: Remember to follow all local laws and regulations when holding your yard sale, and take precautions to keep yourself and your customers safe. Wear a mask and practice social distancing, and consider offering hand sanitizer or wipes for customers to use.
