Dan Stone
My name is Dan Stone. I have lived in the Copperfield neighborhood since March of 2000. I previously served on the Facilities Committee from 2006-20017 as well as the HOA Board from 2014-2017. I have a wealth of knowledge about the neighborhood that will be beneficial to the board going forward.
Daniel Mercer
I have been married to my lovely bride, Ashley, for almost 17 years. We have 3 kids – Colin (13), Kenzie (10), and Kennedy (7). We have lived in Lexington for since 2012 and have been fortunate to call Copperfield home since 2019. Copperfield was (and still is) a very desirable neighborhood for many families and we were fortunate enough to move here when we did. Over that time, through our kids attending Clays Mill Elementary, swimming on the Copperfield Crocs, attending Southland and participating in our children’s other sports activities – we have been able to build many friendships with families in the same season of life as we are. I have worked at Southland Christian Church for 9 years, currently serving on the Connections Team. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, working on home renovation projects, and coaching both of my girls in Soccer through I Am Third. We love living in Copperfield and if I can be of any assistance helping it remain an amazing neighborhood for all families, I would be honored to serve on the board this year.

Hello neighbors. I’m Josh Fain and I have been a Copperfield resident for 8 years now. I have served on the Board or the Facilities committee in some capacity for that full duration and am seeking your vote for re-election to the Board. I currently serve as the Board President and have been in that role for a couple of years now and prior to that I served as Treasurer for several years. I am married with two kids. My wife, Allison, is a member of the CROCS swim team Board, and our oldest child is an active member of the CROCS. Prior to moving to Copperfield, we lived in Dogwood Trace, and I served on the neighborhood association board there as well. I am an attorney and currently serve as Executive Director of a nonprofit organization that both assists special needs individuals with qualifying for Medicaid while also serving as an estate planning tool for individuals with special needs loved ones. My entire legal career has been in the nonprofit section. I previously specialized in housing law in which I represented homeowners in foreclosure cases amongst other matters. I truly feel that we live in an amazing neighbor but also know that it could be even better. The current board has made significant strides, and we truly hope that we get re-elected to continue that momentum. Thank you and have a great day.

Mark Yates has been a resident of Copperfield since 2001. Mark is a father of 3 children that were raised in Copperfield. Mark served on the initial Copperfield Board that secured the purchase of the Clubhouse facility from the original Developers. That initial Board spent over a year with numerous meetings and some heated debates over the neighborhood making such a purchase. It turned out to be the right move and the facility is a tremendous asset to all residents. Mark has served the neighborhood as a Board Member for 9 years.
Mark has spent 42 years in the professional field of Commercial Real Estate development and Construction. He currently serves as the Director of Construction for Ivisionary Capital as the Director of Construction. His current project is the $46 million dollar Professional Soccer stadium located at Athens Boonesboro Road and I-75 Interchange. This will serve as the home to the Lexington Sporting Club Professional Soccer Teams. He will also oversee the planned retail, hotel, and commercial development portion of the project.
Thank you in advance for all consideration. I aspire to be fiscally responsible and represent the neighborhood as a whole.
